GIS Supervisor/Specialist

Job brief

As the GIS Supervisor/Specialist, you will be responsible for leading a team of GIS professionals and overseeing the successful execution of GIS projects. Your role will involve not only technical leadership but also mentoring and fostering a positive work environment for your team.

1. Plan, coordinate, and execute GIS projects, adhering to project timelines and budget constraints.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to GIS data, software.
3. Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards during GIS projects.
4. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Geography, GIS, Geomatics, or a related field.
5. Proficiency in GIS software, such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or other industry-standard tools.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
